We are “Echo of the Survivors”, a group of children who survived the massacre and war in the Gaza Strip. We carry a humanitarian message that reflects the truth we have lived through, and we seek for our voice to reach all those who are willing to listen with justice and compassion. We sincerely hope that you will be among those who hear this voice with fairness and concern.
We write to you from a reality that can no longer endure silence, and from a memory burdened with scenes that never fade. Your public statement in support of the children of Gaza was deeply appreciated by us. Through your words, we felt that our voice, despite its weakness, had reached beyond the suffering, and that there are those who acknowledge our pain and place it within its rightful humanitarian context.
Your words were not merely a passing statement; for us, they were a message of solidarity that restored part of our sense of dignity, humanity, and hope.
We respectfully place before you a documented picture of the reality faced by children in Gaza, based on data issued by the United Nations and its agencies, particularly UNICEF, according to updates available up to March 2024:
• More than 14,000 children have lost their lives
• More than 30,000 children have been injured, some with lifelong disabilities
• Thousands of children remain missing, some still under the rubble or with an unknown
fate
• Hundreds of thousands of surviving children suffer severe psychological trauma and
remain in urgent need of psychosocial support
Your Excellency,
As a living echo of this tragedy, we carry not only pain, but also the responsibility of testimony and truth.
From this standpoint, we respectfully express our readiness—should you deem it appropriate—to form a delegation of one hundred children from “Echo of the Survivors” to appear before you, or through any platform you consider suitable, in order to present direct testimony of what we have witnessed and to convey the true reality of what the children of the Gaza Strip have endured.We firmly believe that listening to witnesses, especially children, is not only a humanitarian duty, but also an important step toward a deeper understanding of reality and toward strengthening efforts aimed at protecting children and preventing the recurrence of such tragedies.

I address you today as a Palestinian Arab struggler who has spent nearly forty-five years in the prisons of the Israeli occupation, as a result of my commitment to resisting occupation and defending the freedom and dignity of my people.
We, the Palestinian people, have followed your statements and positions, which stem from genuine humanitarian values. Your voice has had a profound and comforting impact on our hearts, as it reflects sincere solidarity with oppressed peoples. What our people are enduring today—systematic violence, killing, starvation, and forms of ethnic cleansing—is taking place before the eyes of the world in real time, echoing the painful experiences that the Korean people themselves endured in the past, including repression, suffering, and inhumane practices against civilians.
From this shared human and historical experience, we appeal to Your Excellency to ensure that your principled voice is accompanied by meaningful actions in international forums, in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people—foremost among them the right to freedom, self-determination, and the return of millions of refugees who have been displaced for nearly eighty years.
We also hope that Your Excellency will give special attention to the cause of Palestinian prisoners, and support international efforts aimed at securing their freedom and ending the systematic suffering and violations they endure.

From this shared human and historical experience, we appeal to Your Excellency to ensure that your principled voice is accompanied by meaningful actions in international forums, in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people—foremost among them the right to freedom, self-determination, and the return of millions of refugees who have been displaced for nearly eighty years.
We also hope that Your Excellency will give special attention to the cause of Palestinian prisoners, and support international efforts aimed at securing their freedom and ending the systematic suffering and violations they endure.
